Not much help--but the costs of renting a boat like this have always made me consider alternatives. ($900+ per day) Have you looked at the boat-sharing sites? Kind of like Turo or AirBnB for boats. The surfboats often come with the owner driving.

I have been sailing the Farriers and Corsairs for years. They are great designs that actually provide a good sailing experience. Just be careful with your sail-load, as they can be very fast and you can get in trouble quickly.Leave a comment:

Skis

Used--tons of options. (XT20-21-22, X10, SAN210, GS20/22) Some of those are too new and haven't depreciated enough.
New or very recent--NXT, (Some) Moomba. I like the new NXT a lot.
