    replied to PP Stargazer Problems
Got it today with the help of PP. Added another spring to the throttle spring AND a throttle brake (clamp) to the throttle cable. Seemed counter intuitive to add both since they pull in opposite directions, but one adds pressure to the throttle and the other to the Stargazer system.

    Will...

    PP Stargazer Problems

Recently upgrade to Stargazer, the system worked perfect day one, but has never worked correctly since then. The issues almost seem random - does not lock in (even though the GPS is showing as working), locks in but surges and has @4MPH range in speed or just takes off. Servo test and linkage test did...

    1995 ProStar 205 Trailer

Recently took my trailer in to have numerous areas of rust repaired and was told that it was too far gone to repair. Any recommendations for a replacement? Anyone know of any used trailers for sale? I love the original trailer with the Boat Buddy system that made it so easy to put in and out of the...

    ProStar 205 Mystery Electrical Problem

Tried to get on the water for the first time this year. Tried to start and nothing. There is no power to anything, except the oil and temp gages which move but do not register. I can also hear the fuel pump. No blower, no radio, does not crank. Thought it might be a poor ground as the negative terminal...

Thanks for the suggestion. Put the battery back in yesterday (had taken it out to get it tested) and surprise everything lit up and the engine turned over. Total mystery to me, but obviously happy. Hope to get it in the water sometime this week. Thanks again.

    Not Starting

Tried to take my 1995 ProStar 205 out last weekend for the first time this spring. The boat was running fine last fall. Put the battery in (fully charged) and basically nothing. I can hear the fuel pump, the oil gage registers, but everything else is dead. Does not crank. All other gages don't register...

    replied to Starter Issue? Help
The starter engages and the engine turns. I haven't touched the alternator, so that shouldn't be an issue. Just replaced the coil - cheap attempt - no change. Feels like it should be something simple, but.....

Back from business trip figured out the I had wire in the wrong place. Starter is now working, but the boat is still not starting. The engine turns over but is not starting. I've tried using some starter fluid to see if I could get it to fire, but nothing, not even a hint of combustion. I don't know...

Had Auto Zone check the battery it was only charged to 40% and would not charge any higher - replaced battery. Everything is still dead. Remembered how to jump a starter - the solinnoid and starter work and engage. Whatever is going on now appears to be unrelated to the starter (although I may have...

    Starter Issue? Help

Last weekend went up to fire the boat up and the starter would spin but not engage, everything else seemed good. While i wasn't happy, since this was the original starter I couldn't complain. Put a new starter in yesterday and everything is dead - as far as I can tell nothing is getting any power. I've...

Normally we leave the Dutch Creek course in until about the 15th, but with some of us done for the season because of injuries and others out of town this month we decided to pull it last weekend. There are no other courses in the Chain. There is a course in St Charles on the Fox but I don't know if...

    Denali

I've got the 2007 Denali XL. I had a 2001 Denali which I liked alot, but this is a big upgrade in almost every area. Towing is not an issue, plenty of torque and with the Autoride system the truck rides very level even with a boat in back. The only negative (besides fuel which...

    replied to 214 Finally!
Thanks Eric - I was one of the lucky skiers on Saturday to drive and ski behind Erics's new toy. This boat is the real deal, as big as it is we were all very skeptical and waiting for a 209 like experience. We skied from 15 through 35 off - the word amazing was used alot. The wakes were excellent -...

  • e-Bay - I found an awesome deal last fall on a lightly used bike - well less than 50% of new. This was a very high end bike that I never could have purchased at retail.

Craigslist is also a good suggestion, my daughter just found a pretty decent road bike through Craigslist.
