Thought I'd update you, but I ended up disconnecting everything then replacing both fuses to the stereo wiring and then reassembled the wiring and we are good to go!...

A bad check valve between what? The ballast pump and hard tank? Or hard tank and sac? I'm having a similar issue that's why I ask!...

JimN,
I do have a multimeter and it saves me a ton of times. I understand everything you talked about, I'm just curious as to how to any quick check to be able to assess the stereo. Rather than dig deep into the wiring. Thank you for the information though!

Stereo issue (no not again)
Okay, so I have to keep it honest....I dropped a bolt today on the battery terminal after I completed all the wiring and it instantly sparked. I began to move the wires off the terminal and they created mini sparks until removed.

Low voltage warning help!!!!
Hey guys, I know this topic is beat to death but I really need some help. Last year my 06 x star threw a bunch of low voltage warnings. We replaced the alternator and problem solved. However water was left on the alternator and most likely ruined it (don't know yet because I can't start it until later...

Might be a tad bit off topic, but my OEM cover for a 2005 xstar just ripped and I'd like to try to obtain a similar factory look with the mastercraft lettering. Is anyone selling one or know the best way to find one?

2005 Mastercraft Xstar
The time has come to sellalthough I'm open to possible trades.
I purchased the boat beginning of this summer and fell in love with surfing. This hull is notorious for being hard to surf, so I'm looking to move to a more surf dominant boat.
$42,000
Boat is in excellent condition,...Last edited by Mattymillz12; 09-26-2016, 12:19 AM.

You'll have to maybe post a video of the process or a little before and after!
