I had a faded tower powder coated once, it turned out good, just had to find a place with a large oven. I like the way these towers look, and powder coating isn't as durable as the aluminum finish. Make sure you post pictures if you do itLeave a comment:

If it's fuel you would be able to smell it. I bet it's oil check the plugs and you might find one covered in oil, then compression check or leak down test the cylinders.Leave a comment:

I went through this with my 09 x star. Why they switched tplastic is beyond me. But after being crossed threaded too many times and finally stripped. I thought I could replace it with a brass plug but no, it is nps... I think which is a straight thread which requires a seal at the end. The brass plugs...Leave a comment:
