Hey Adam, I have my 08 x2 stripped, i am curious what you have up your sleve for ballast upgrades. I may be interested in doing the same. I currently run two 400's (I believe) one in each rear locker. and 500 lbs of lead. However, in a 20' boat I really hate having the lead in it all the time.

I am seriously contemplating doing this as well on my X2... maybe we can get wakemakers or another provider to make us custom bags together to help keep the cost down? So far anything I see in the L configuration is for a bigger boat. usually a 24' or so. What's your thought?

skins replacement
I am surprised there isn't more viewing in upholstery this time of year. I pulled my skins last year and had the sticking redone. I have a couple more spots that need to be done but the cracking and drying out has taken its toll already. I am thinking about sending the skins out now to be replaced...

right, I am not opposed to cutting them out if it makes a big enough difference in the amount of total weight I can hold. I was thinking of having two custom bags made that would replace the hard tanks completely and fill up under the back seats on either side as well. then it would be the same shape...

Hey guys, can we circle back to this quick. is removing the tanks really getting that much more weight in? How are you doing it? Anyone add another ballast pump to help speed up the process.
