I've had similar issues in the past and it was all related to the reverse solenoid (mine was a bad ground wire). Check out this website, specifically look at the FAQs in the brake section. They have troubleshooting guides for this specific issue.

A few thoughts to share....Engine RPMs can be controlled/adjusted through the gear ratio of the transmission. I'd expect the transmission in the X24 to be different than the X23 if the surf speed is increased to 14.2MPH. Prop specs also play a major role in controlling RPMS, speed and hole shot out...

Reposting the question: Does anyone know the exact placement of the onboard factory ProMariner battery charger on the Mastercraft X23? Could someone share a picture of the location on the X23? I want to ensure it is mounted safely and in the correct location.
