Alberta to Tennessee back in the day. 2200 miles each way. Made a family vacation trip out of it -- Mt. Rushmore, Mall of America, Chicago Navy Pier, etc....

My Mastercraft has a Briggs and Stratton one cylinder engine. I can do about 2 mph on a good day. It cost me 85$ plus tax (plus an extra $5 for a new pull start cable.)

Check out Wakemakers Prop Finder feature.
They list OJ 812 for all-around recreational and Acme 1285 or OJ 815 for boarding and surfing. We have an 05 X2 and run the Acme 1285 and ski, surf, and tube.

Ballpark low $20's.
Have you been able to see/hear it running? Do ballast, stereo, gauges, PPass all work?

205V all the way. We have an 05 X which is the 205V hull. It's one of the best all-around hulls MC ever made. After having two DD's the central space is sure nice.

Contact the peeps at Acme or OJ Props. They are very helpful. It you don't need low-end grunt for heavily ballasted activities (ie. surfing) then changing prop pitch will do the trick.

I have an 05 X2. There is no water coolant that flows through the transmission. Rather, than the transmission fluid runs through the raw water cooler mentioned above. I do not have the transmission that you have pictured (although my neighbour with a Sanger does.) Just check the hoses...

Also check to see where the return line from the heater attaches to the system. You may need to remove that also. Mine is plumbed into the raw water intake at the bottom of the bilge. Sometimes they come back into the return side of the water pump.
Also your Cylinder #4 injector looks...
