Agree on fuel, if you can swing it, 1/4 to 1/2 tank (max) is your target. Take out anything else in the back - seat base, anchor etc...
Also agree the 196 you sold is a great ski wake hull, especially at long ling / slow speeds.

I didn’t think the microtuners did much until -32 and shorter? Multiple folks have said longer lines and slower speeds Prostar is one to beat?
Wish I was a consistent -35 skier to be able to honestly compare.

Wonder how fuel consumption would compare to a 60 or 90 HP since a lot of pontoon time is putting around vs “needing” a 200-300HP motor.

2015 Prostar Tower Adjustment
I would guess the tower got bent somehow. I don’t think it’s typical to adjust the base plates.
Does the fiberglass show witness marks at the base of it being in a different spot?

I’ve seen you post up for the ‘03 multiple times. Great looking boats. I still think 197 is easily in top 3 looking ski boats of all time, along with 91-94, and I’m not sure what the 3rd would be. Maybe tsc2 nautique.

You are right. That was in craigslist near me a few years ago. I knew better than to go look at it…. That had to have simply been a custom order. I think you can get custom gel colors still today. There was a purple or pink 2015 or so Prostar for sale a while ago.
