2017 Center-Hill Round up

I haven't been in a course in at least 5 maybe 8 years!! New ski that rides way different from my HO I've had since 88. New ride is a Radar senate. Different ball game for me.
I will greatly appreciate a ride and some pointers

We will meet at the course around 7:00 am on Saturday and there will be plenty of people who will pull you through.

Where is the course located? I'm going to rent a slip for that weekend at Center Hill Marina so I don't have to worry about trailering it around to the condo and back!

Is everyone staying on the lake? I was thinking about driving up Friday night and heading back to Alabama on Saturday night, a quick search showed only hotels in Cookeville 15-20 miles away?

About three miles from Center Hill Marina. Very close..

Yes no hotels in Smithville. Closest is Cookeville. See if there is something at Hidden Harbor. They have 3 small cabin for around $99.00 a night.

There is a little motel in Msithville too but not sure about the conditions.

I could be wrong in that PSC may have moved the course but it has been in Racoon Hollow for a long time. Go one more cove up just to the right heading into Holmes Creek. I could be wrong....been a while since I visited that area.

You are correct, it is raccoon hollow. It's not listed on the map for some reason. Yes Jones is part of Indian Creek now I'm looking at it better. Raccoon hollow is the second real cove on your right coming out of CHL Marina. Holmes creek would be the third. It looks-now this map like it was connected at one time?

i was going to correct you but it is in raccoon. the original owner of my 73 model built in and was founding member of the patriotic ski club on chl.

Smithville hotels are limited and not something my wife would stay in, but I would if I was just gonna crash for the night. I'm sure they are fine, but the Fairfield is my wifes idea of camping...Speaking of camping, Hidden harbor does have tent sites if that's a consideration. On weekends they want a 2 night minimum on the cabins.
