I just redid the bunks on the trailer for my '13 X10 with gatorbak. My first impression is that I really like it. Before I loaded my boat I used spray on wax to cover all the bunks. I noticed a pretty big difference in how easy it was to load the boat.

The end caps do look nice and I would choose them again, but it's just cosmetic. I had to make my own end caps for the bow stop piece and it's OK but not as nice looking as the primary support boards with the end caps.
Gatorbak says their product is similar to carpet in terms of traction. I don't like to test that theory but I'd say it's about right. The boat doesn't slip right off the trailer like it would on plastic skids or rollers. I leave the winch hooked up until I'm in the water though.

Thanks!
Treated is usually low quality and likes to warp and split. There are a lot of good rot-resistant woods like Douglas fir, cypress, cedar, redwood, etc. depending on where you live. No chemicals and dries out quickly.

Saw this today on Facebook. Looks like a new product from Gatorbak. I'm going to need to replace my bunk carpet this coming season. May look at something like this if the price is right. We often times have to load in the dark because we just don't want to leave!!! Lol.
Would love to hear some thoughts on this.
