Anybody in the midwest....

SICK and tired of this freezing cold spring with no end in sight? I am supposed to have my boat in the water in 3.5 weeks. Lakes are still ice at 12" thick and N Wisc is expecting 6" of snow???? what the hell is going on? opening fishing is the first weekend in May. Probably still ice on the lakes by then too....just ranting mad.

Anyone have a good source for long range forecasts for the midwest? maybe that will help!

We are no better here with the long term forecast. Our bay has 16" of ice as of last weekend. The temps are barely getting above freezing over the next twp weeks and I have a new boat coming May 4th.

Expecting 3" of snow tomorrow night here in Eau Claire, with lows in the teens in the 10 day forecast. Normally we'd be skiing by now, but there's still ice on the river. Brutal winter for sure.

Current weather pattern is not kind to the upper Mid West. SW Missouri is getting soaked

The water is open in central Indiana, but the temps have been all over the place. 50s last week followed by 10” of snow over the weekend and back up to almost 60 yesterday.

I feel for you guys, here in north Texas the air temperature only got to 79 degree's last Sunday and the water temperature was a chilly 69 degrees. That's according to the new big screen in the boat. Still way too cold to enjoy, maybe we will have to invest in some wet suits

We had our dock in already here in NW Iowa at this point last year. Heck we were debating on boating to Easter lunch.

This year we still have over 2 ft of ice on the lake as of today
