Hi Dave, that is a very nice clean look on the turned down tips. Please let us know how they work out. I just got a used 08 X14 so I've learned a lot lately from the X14 teamtalk posts, thanks everyone. I had an FAE already in the works when I saw your post otherwise I might have done the same. My goal is to limit noise primarily while also keeping ability to revert to OEM, so I asked Larry at FAE to do side mount supports and use new extended hardware on the swim platform. I asked for an inverse Y to keep everything out of the water except the down pipe, and also added a spray guard since my previous FAE sprayed up between the platform and transom and I had to rig up a gasket. SO, if those tips do the trick, I will have be a candidate for some kind of MC over engineering award

I'm looking to do something similar to my 214V.
Do you have the part #'s for the tips and where did you find them? I've looked on MCPartsdepot and can't seem to find them.
Also, would be great to hear if the noise level changed?

I did run her finally last night and I would like a longer test run, but from the drivers seat it sounds quieter by knocking down the cackle at certain RPMs. Ill try to do a comparison video soon.

I had to order the tips through a dealer and their pricing is different. Bruce from Action Watersports out of Fenton, MI got me the best price based on a recommendation.

Umm, New ProStar Exhaust Tips...? LOL. Sorry, Ask for Bruce Jesionowski, and refer to my project. He should be good with that.
