Great post, does anyone know what would cause the yellow fading around the edges. It's nowhere else except on this one spot.

I used Sodars Method and it has worked awesome. I had to get the center back seat recovered due to a towing fail but here are some pics. As far as the stain on the port side cushion, I have tried everything. No idea what it is from. Had the snap installed, maybe it won't fly out again.

Anyone know if you can get that brush anywhere at a local store? Found it several places online.

Cam, it looks (in your pictures) like the grey has a pink hue bleeding through. Iím seeing the same thing on mine. Is that a function of dirty vinyl? Or is it a degradation of the material??

great post. Anything special/unique about the Porter Cable polisher and brush - or would your method work well with other similar tools?

Make sure you keep the upholstery wet and don't use too much pressure

First try didn't go quite as planned. Lesson learned to pass to everyone. Keep the vinyl wet and lubricated and don't push too hard with too much RPM...or this will happen. Most of the boat cleaned up nicely except one stain looked barely notable...well it's definitely notable now.

Sodar........ I know this post started 5/15 but wanted to say thanks for the post. I followed the method you put and the end result came out fantastic.

Geat technique! Wish I saw this thread 2 years ago, I probably wouldn't be replacing my upholstery right now.

Anxious to clean my upholstery using this method but can't seem to find the Malco Leather and Plastic cleaner available on all the usual sites. Anyone know from where where I can oder it?

Thanks - Chris
