Motor is GDI 6000. The manual claims “special tool is required” to remove/install the fuel filter. Is this a procedure that should only be completed by an authorized dealer mechanic? Anyone done it themselves? What tools did you use? Any info on this would be great.

Pic of filter? The 6000 is a high pressure fuel system but the filter should be before the pump. I would assume it's a standard fuel line tool to remove/replace the filter.Comment
