        I've owned a 62 fuelie, 67 roadster, 70 off road - track/autocross, 71, 75 driver for wifey, 88 roadster.
I guess the Vette thing ran it's course with me. Not bashing, they just don't get my blood pumping. Maybe I'm turning into a geezer? Hey, get off my lawn!!

Corvettes are phenomenal machines that can smooth operate!!!

But do not but a brand new one.... They depreciate like a 2015 Kia Optima!!! Buy one that is 1-2 years old with 2,500 miles on it. The savings is unreal!!!

Chevy hit the mark on this Vette and the price point is crazy for a mid engine car.

I cant wait to see what the Z06 models look like as this will be the closest to my father's C6 with the 427(7.0L).

Yea, really like the lines and can't believe that is the starting price. Get a $100k optioned out one and I bet it can run with Ferrari and Lamborghini at a fraction of the price!

I’m sure that model will be closer to $175-200k.

Currently the baddest optioned out Vette runs about $148-150k MSRP.

This is true. I could not believe the variance in pricing on the wette, I mean vette

The real price point on this thing in the U.S. market will be if it can out perform the Ford GT and be substantially cheaper.

You can play around with some simple appearance options on the Chevrolet website. But no performance options or pricing yet.

Doesn't look anything like a Corvette, can't get a manual trans. MID ENGINE!!! Weird looking "feathers" on the back deck, or is that the hood? Or maybe that's the trunk? Not bad looking for a lambovette. I assume the foreign car look is what GM is going for. As for myself, nope, not interested, I'll take last years model.
