That did seem excessive. Homemade version is much cheaper. 4” fan for $20 or so plus other music stuff. This is my second one. First was a bit smaller.
No heat source and works fine. Oddly enough (on a boat forum) the flex hose is bilge hose.

Very nice boot rack. The fan is nice. I wonder how long my cheap hair dryer will last. Even if I have to replace it every year it’s worth it for warm dry boots.

Typical stuff, kids playing on it, sleds, snowboarding, and me pushing my self to see how big I can make it. Lol. This is the latest, blew some more last nite! Now the problem is to keep the kids from falling of the top and If I had my snowmobile I would probably be dead by now. Lol.

This is the one I used and I added an extra spray nozzle on it . See post 259# if you want to see the rest of the equipment I used.

                        What fan did you use?

This would be great for my hunting boots.

                          4" Muffin fan. 120V.

Bolted it to the plywood, then used toilet flange to connect the 3" PVC.

Then drill holes (7/8" I think) and use underground sprinkler fittings to connect the hoses. You need to heat the fittings w/heat gun to soften them to fit in the holes.

Bilge hose for the boots and 1" poly sprinkler line for the gloves.

                          Post your pics...

                            Platform Locating Pin

A couple of minutes with the drill and a couple of minutes on the lathe and a bolt becomes a pin.
