The head in handle and the teeth hold are things that are done in barefooting. The handle Y is fixed and it is wide and has the leather strap for putting into your mouth. Been there done that. My brother in law has pretty new fake front teeth from not listening when we said you grab it with your molars not your front teeth.

When I used to compete in the barefoot world, it was considered a 'trick'. We were training one day and the woman I used to ski with got dragged by her husband after going down on the boom. It was pretty scary, but she came out okay. I took it out of my run right then and there, it always made me leery. Foot runs are 30 seconds long, so you have to rush your tricks. That's not a good one to rush.
