Flooring replacement process

Hello all
Iím about to start tearing out the carpet in my 1999 Maristar 230 sport and replace the carpet with some pvc loop and was wondering what everyone has done with the interior walls of boats that have carpet glued to them? The interior of the boat is different than most since it has two captains chairs and a lot of flooring. Any advise or insight is appreciated.

Thanks

I’m sure you may have figured something out already, but I have used black spray raptor truck bed liner on my sidewalls. My plan is to use Eva foam on top of it but haven’t made it that far yet. It bonded really well to the lightly sanded fiberglass so I’m hoping the foam will stick well to the liner.
