Sweet boat also. We've only had one situation where our anchors pulled out. Shasta isn't known for the crazy storms and winds like Powell. Shasta has pretty calm winds all summer. I know the anchors and lines setup at Powell is pretty involved to make sure you don't get ripped off the beach. Everyone at shasta just uses 3-4ft rebar stakes pounded into the shore. We could definitely use some more angle to the anchor lines though.

haha fortunately not, there were about 40-45 mph winds last summer that ripped our anchors out and some folks who have been on the lake for over 20 years said that's the strongest winds they've seen on Shasta.

I can’t wait for our trips this year! We get to go about once a month in the summer and fall as my parents have a house on O’Brien mountain. The best one is our august houseboat trip though for sure. I’m betting we see $6 marina gas this year.
