Is this an apples to apples stock wave comparison, or a comparison of multiple boats with them "tweaked" properly w/ added ballast? Have yet to see a stock wave on a boat that couldn't be improved significantly with proper added weight and placement.

I don't even think stock to stock is a fair comparison. Is comparing a Centurion with 5k lbs of stock ballast taking up every inch of storage space a fair comparison to an G running half as much ballast and tons of storage? I don't think it is.

I guess it highlights a more subtle question, what's the best surf wave vs. what is the best surf boat... which I guess circles back to the OP. Maybe the M235/240 has the best surf wave (I don't know, never been behind one) but I definitely don't think it is the best surf boat. Lots of factors play into that, engine noise, wave adjustability, bow attitude, fuel burn...etc.
