Color match on flake and non flake in same color

I am in the final process of color choice for my 22 Prostar. I am hearing from the dealer to be careful when having metal flake next to the same color with non-flake. Apparently, they may not match? The colors that I have chosen will have to be changed quite a bit if this is true. Does anyone have experience with this?

If you are going to flake the bow, I would recommend going white for the rear of the deck.

Trying to match flake to regular always looks off IMO.

That was true on our 2019 XStar. Blue flake on the outside did not exactly to the blue non-flake that was located around the cup holders. Not a big issue for us, but certainly noticeable if you are looking for it.

Depending on the colors it can be way off from flake/non flake.

Thanks both of you. I wanted to avoid white interior this time... although...

Jetstream blue is the color. I like the color look of the interior with that. May have to choose another color for the bow.

I went with Black and Black Mica on my X22, love the contrast, but it highlights the issue. The Mica Black looks more like a charcoal/dark grey. While I think greys/blacks are a natural compliment to each other and works well, maybe not so much with something in the blue family like JSB. The flake/non flake in JSB never really matched well for my taste.

For some reason, I'm having issues attaching pics. I have a Kahuna blue flake with kahuna blue non flake on a 2021 Prostar.
