Ok. Enough of my threatening to do this. Time to actually start the X-14v thread.
Ours- 2010 x-14v
Great looking boat! I really like the color scheme. Everytime I try and pick colors on the "build a boat" feature they never come out looking good. You did great! Now just make it a DD and it can't be beat.
beautiful boat ... i guess you wont let your X14 DD cousins threadjack this will you?
My thoughts exactly -- I love my X-14 DD -- but I must admit I am intrigued by the near cult like allegiance to the X-14v. So since this is an X-14v thread attempt, I would definitely like some more comments from 14v owners about their boats, performances, wakes, etc....why they love them so.
Here's mine...I like the new thread...I don't have a lot of ski experience so not a lot to compare to but the wake seemed incredible, v-drive or not. And the wakeboard wake seemed to be good enough for any of the "intermediate" boarders I'm with. What sold me though was the seating config. A lot of people don't seem to like the separated seating in the rear, but to me it was perfect. You can have two separate conversations going on and it doesn't seem like you're sitting in the "playpen" with everyone's legs on top of one another, as you do in the wraparound seating. I've got three young kids who don't always like to hang with each other, but we all have to be on the same boat. I guess it's all personal preference...
