Unhappy Bellhousing

Now I need some help. I had a failure of my engine hoist and the rebuilt 351 hit the floor. To my horror the bell housing took the hit and broke. So now I am in search of a Ford Windsor to velvet drive bell housing. Indmar #53-20122. Also dented the oil pan, although it should still be usable, just changed the angle of the drain hose fitting.
Anyone have a spare around? I live in the Northwest but I'll look at anything . Prefer fresh water as the one I found online looked like it was very corroded.
If I can't find one I wonder if the old one could be welded. It broke below the velvet drive mounting bolts, about an inch up above the small bolts that hold the backing plate to the bell housing.
Oh yeah, I'm OK, bruised my knee but got out of the way.

pic would help to see what it looks like... include a pic of the oil pan too...

your best bet may be to see someone who can weld it back together... and probably need a new oil pan... I would, but that is me...

Send a message via AIM to 88 PS190

See if this guy still has the Velvet drive w/ bell housing - I would imagine the commander and windsor are the same part.

Glad you're OK. If for any reason you need a dampner plate, I have a brand new one for that transmission. I also have a oil pan for a 350 (which I don't think will work) but I also have a 6.0 oil pan, and for some reason, my tech thinks that one might work??? Let me know if I can help at all. Deb............contact me at: [email protected] BTW..........both oil pans are new and in the box from Indmar~

I think the bell is aluminum which is easily welded. If iron, even easier
