I have a 1996 Prostar 190 and my trailer looks like yours, I think. The factory auto-latch on mine is a Kodiak KBB1 Boat Buddy (which you can see in the picture). The latch itself no longer "auto" latches, and I can't buy parts to repair it (and that Boat Buddy is obsolete). Interestingly enough I JUST ordered a Drotto (small, because the gap for the mounting is 3") replacement auto-latch, which is supposed to arrive this week and I hope to install it in about a week or so. I don't think it'll fix your problem, though, if the winch mount isn't lined up right for that boat. The Drotto won't probably line up correctly either.
