Engine compartment divider issue

The engine compartment dividers are flexing way too much in my X45 when my ballast bags are full. The panels are hard into the manifolds and as I discovered a recent cold morning the heater hoses are even being pinched off. I am Thinking the best solution is to cut some new divider panels out of marine grade plywood. Has anyone else done this? It seems like plywood would be stiff enough. I can't be the only one having this issue.
