Rear ballast upgrade ?

I'm pulling the hard tanks in my 03 X10. Wakemakers is now offering their own bags as the upgrade kit. I called them & asking the difference between their bags & the fly high 750's. I was told their bags are built to fit the rear compartment better allowing to fill it completely.

So my question is should I go with the wakemakers bags or the fly high 750's?

Being a cheapskate I would go with the cheaper option. I doubt there is much difference in weight.

I did this in my 04 X30 and lived the results. Went with 900s fly high, but didn't even look into the wakemakers version. I'll bet they're the same. Great to get the kit. Easy project!!

720's. Can't find the bags physical dimensions listed on their site.

Did you buy the fly high hardware kit and then add the bags? The fly high hardware & bags are $20 cheaper.

The x10 lockers can holdsmore than 720. I would get the biggest bags you can that will fill the compartment. 900 minimimum .....especially if you want to surf.
