Check engine light

I’ve notice while surfing, the check engine light will come on periodically and usually go off when the engine is restarted. Oil pressure is good, oil level is good, temp is good. Thinking maybe knock sensor? I replaced it about 3 years ago with a non marine sensor

Go to a dealer and scan for the stored fault codes. There is no other way (apart from guessing).

Mine had a similar issue and it turned out the hi temp switch in the block failed. 2001 205V as well. I posted on it with pictures sometime ago.
