How late can we be to register? Wife and I just found out recently we are expecting our first! That being said I am not sure she will be feeling up to making the trip towing the boat and whatnot. We are going to try to make it but will most likely be a friday afternoon decision.

Hey everyone, Friday is the Buckeye Bash Slalom Contest for the Beaver Cup!
This years format is a bit different, we will compete in Classes ... so A skiers will compete against other A's
B' against B's.
C's against C's ...
teams will be drawn at random like in years past, and the Skier A.
We will crown 3 champs based on a per flight result.
Level A – Experienced course skier that can complete 15 off passes at over 30 mph. Will run at 32 MPH today or higher. After completed pass the speed will go up or the rope length.
Level B – Been in the Course and understand the entry gates, ready to ski over 30. Trying for 4 full passes, missing the gate by a little bit will be accepted but not for a Full Pull. At least 30 mph, 15 off starting
Level C – Solid Slalom skier – will not do the gates – but will need to cross wakes (no consecutive balls on the same side of course), any speed, no gates.
Level D – Will ski the course, on wakeboard / kneeboard / stay safe and not receive points for team. Fun pull!
We will ask for everyone's help in not climbing into the tow boats as we prepare for runs. More details at the event.
Scores will be posted on TT and Facebook live during the event.Ski in snow, ski in water, and always have fun!

As the weekend winds down, I would like to pass along some thanks and credit to some really special folks.
As one of the original owners behind the event, I have the privilege to hand out a Captain’s Award, to someone, or a crew that made the event extra special.
This years Captain Award goes to David Ballinger and Katelyn Ballinger for their spirit, work, costumes and energy before and during the event.
Did you see the sweet banner? With all the detail? David put all that together, the tshirts were his design and he personally worked with the tshirt Vendor. Katie helped her Dad during the event and helped make sure many of you won something.
I can’t thank them enough, and they have become family to me over the years, we are blessed to run our MC’s together.
We will create a post this week with some pics and also share other awards we gave out to best rig, and more.
We also appreciate how well the days on the water went in terms of safety and fun. You guys all rock, in today’s world the waterways have become extra busy and each of us were able to share a small body of water yesterday with zero incidents.
Buckeye Bash is a great embodiment of what cool boater from around the area are all about! Sharing pulls, and gear, bragging about boats and also sharing our few little bumps in the road.
We want to thank James and Kellie Repasky of Boat House at Tri-Lakes Marine, our most favorite MC dealer and friend to the event EVERY year! Garrick Ochoa thanks for coming down and sharing swag, shirts, and spirit around our event!
Mark Mertens at Wake Mate, thank you for the sweet gifts! Everyone loves your Wake Shapers and signs.
MasterCraft and Andrew Mehler for your support of the event and helping to give us support in any way possible. We missed you bro, but love being in your territory, thank you.
2020 forced us to pass n a Saturday night gathering but everyone cooperated and made the best of the situation. Thank you.
The tie up was epic, and we had some great skiing, and footin to get all our adrenaline flowing.
You all have sweet boats, and it was fun to see them all in action.
Thank you to Jeff and Adam for providing boats for the slalom event, and a shout out to the [emoji48] for some footin pulls.
What really strikes me as special is the cool vibe of the event which is a testament to each of you and your crews. With guys like Mark Boyd and WillyT and Josh Patton you have the makings of super water sports. Thanks to Ty Baldwin for his support of so many behind the scenes things.
So keep boating safely, send your pics in when David sends out his call out for pics, so you can enjoy a sweet video recap all year long.
Thanks, to Sara for diving in on helping to support all this madness.
See you on the water, and I hope to see you next year at Buckeye Bash 12!
Peace,
Rob
