In case anyone is interested in the details of the project...

Total cost was about $3,500. The two gangways are 4’x16’ each and the top of the “T” section is 6’x16’. We used Trex for the decking and 2x8s for the framing, built each section on the trailer and then launched it. Mostly everything was purchased from Overton’s or Lowe’s.

Total project took about three full days (and a case of Coors) with me and one friend working.

It was 29’ feet low when we bought on Aug 31 and it’s 1.5’ low today.

Looks great! Also looks like a little over kill on the floats but its not a bad thing. You ca put a party of 50 people on there with no risk of it leaning or sinking low into the water

Yeah if I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have ordered as tall of floats but it’s not bad.

Very nice. Trex is some great stuff and worth every penny IMO.

Do this floating dock not require the use of post for the deck to connect to in order to move up and down with the tidal action?

As the water goes up and down, I'm just going to move the shore-end of the gangway up and down the steps and then tighten the dock ropes that are anchored to the shore.
