Just bought my son a X-25, now it is time for me to upgrade my Prostar to an X-14 DD...if you know of any for sale?......I would appreciate the heads up!

JohnE one of the mods on here has mentioned once that he may consider selling his 40th Aniv X14DD...soon for one of the XT or GS models I think

It seems like this may be one of the most requested WTB models out there. I'm sure these companies know what they're doing, but am a little surprised that none of the big 3 offer larger DDs. There is at least some semblance of a market.

I looked for about 6 months before I found the one that was right for me. There seem to be less for sale right now though than there was last fall. There were a couple of really nice ones for around $50k, and then a couple of not nearly as nice ones for about $40k. Hopefully a few more start popping up as folks start to upgrade. Like what was said above though, there isn't an option for a DD anymore except a true tournament ski boat, so lots of folks are out searching for the older DD crossovers.

I appreciate all your help and feed back....I have called the guy in SC on his 14 but all I get is a "no more room for voicemail", message! There is a nice V14 in Vegas and Wyoming, but I want a DD!

If Johne is a seller, than I am interested! A 40 year "Red Anniversary" is a great color combo and a timeless look as is seen on the guy from Canada selling his 40 year x-star on here!

For those familiar with the X-14, what is your take on "purest skiing" behind them?

Skiing behind it is good but not like the 95 or earlier prostar 190/ 205. However the usable space for use for everything but skiing is GREAT. I'm very happy to have found my x14 last year and really enjoy it overall, especially the additional space and being able to take another family with us for a day on the water.

I tolerate the bump in the wake and just tell myself if I was a better skier I wouldn't notice it. The wake on my '95 PS 205 was almost unnoticeable, so not a totally fair comparison but you did ask
