The Craigslist ad says you can surf it but it's not great. So he must surf it I've been reading up on others that surf x14 as I plan to try on mine in a couple of weeks when I go on vacation. Have my surf gate and ~1000lbs of ballast ready!

You STILL need a kick in the balls! If for nothing else, not showing up to ANY of the last few get togethers!

I pulled the trigger on a 2007 Malibu Silver Edition Response LXI SE, Indmar 338 with 227 hours today.....Couldn't pass it up! I know its not a X-14, but it should give me the great ski wake I want and plenty of power!

Thanks for all for your comments, finding me boats, and advice! Much appreciated!

No Sh!t! I almost lost my lunch the first time I saw that stupid decal! The guy who owned this boat since new, traded it in on a pontoon.boat.......go figure! Probably has 200 trout trolling hours on it?

Always had comp DD's in the past. Purchased a 2009 X-14V last year with about 350 hours. Great decision...seemed to make everyone happy! Plenty of room, great storage...really cleaned up the floor. With the addition of (2) 475# Sumo sacs in the back lockers, the 750# hard ballast, and a Eight.3 Ronix Blade 138 Wakesurf Shaper, we had a pretty decent wake for surfing. Keep the numbers in the boat down to about 4 or 5 and the slalom wake is better than recreational, 3 or less...couldn't tell the difference from my 2002 Nautique!

I missed this until just now. I can't say you're wrong.
