Length of Fuel Sender

My '03 X30 Fuel Sender tank measures 10.25". The KUS SSS/SSL website says 1" less than tank depth but only comes in half inch increments. Curious what others have chosen, 9" or 9.5". Thanks!

Give KUS a call. I'd probably go the more conservative route- call the tank depth 10", go with the 9.5" sender. Although if you go with the 9" sender, when it hits E, you'll know you still have a few gallons in reserve. With the 9.5" sender, E will be much closer to true E.
