Looking for 4Runner

My son is about to turn 16 and I'm looking for a used 4Runner. Doesn't matter if it is 2 or 4WD. 2008 to 2012. Anyone have one they want to part with?

I just sold my 07 a couple months ago, would have loved to send it to someone on here.

Also, just an FYI, 08-09 was the last years of the 4th Gen body style and 10-12 started the 5th Gen body. Not sure if that matters to you or your son but thought I'd give you a heads up.

John, sorry we are not getting rid of any but you could not pick a better more reliable vehicle for your son than a 4runner. Attaching my son's old 2000 that we got him when he was 15 1/2 and he drove it till he graduated and sold it for more money that I paid for it. then he bought a 12 model on his own when he graduated and he just bought a 18 Limited. Daughter is by her 05 that she got when she was 15 1/2 and she is about to start her junior year in college and it runs like a top. All of ours were 4wd and super solid!

Forgot you all were a 4Runner family. Congrats on the new Limited!

@John, the 3rd pic with the son will be the 5th gen and the last pic with the daughter is the 4th gen, just for reference.

Got it. Yours would have been perfect. They hold their value and either body style would be fine, just trying find one within budget. He's paying half so we have to stick with it.

If you have all the way up to 2012 in the equation then he probably could have bought mine with only his half based on what the dealer gave me. I'll keep my eyes open if anyone from our Toyota club is selling I'll let you know

Man, I had that exact same vehicle - color and all, only a 2001 version - even the Team MC sticker. I loved it... It died an untimely death when a lady turned left in front of me on wet pavement. Ive had 2 Tacos since then and they are equally TANKS....

I have a 2007 Limited with ~370,000 miles on the clock. Some think that's a lot of miles. I shrug because nothing is wrong with it and only general maintenance has been done. Getting a new suspension next week...my second one. But other than that, not looking to sell.

We’ve had 4Runners in the family since 1988. 10 and counting. Current is a 2012 SR5 Premium with 125,000 miles. There is zero reason to move to a new one since it just keeps going. We put a lot of miles on it and tow things and all. Great vehicles.

Forgotten what it feels like to have car trouble the last 7 years of 4runner ownership. Im out shopping for 80's model w123 now because my tools feel so neglected.
