Can anyone provide a Wix, Napa, or Mobil 1 oil filter number for the GDI 6000?

TIA,

Chris

Best bet is to buy the oil filter from your MC dealer that way they will have a record of your oil change in the computer. It will help with warranty issues and/or future buyers/trade in.

I just changed the oil in my 6.2L and used the Napa Gold Filter (1372). This may be different that he GDI engines.

If you put the Napa Gold next to the Ilmor filter, they are almost identical. I think it was stated on the forum before that the Ilmor filter are just K&N filters rebranded.

Thanks for the replies folks. That's a good idea TookeyMonster. This is my 25 hour initial oil change. The dealer is 7 hours away. Rather than take it to them they said I could do it myself. Sounds like a good idea to have that documented though.

Keep all of your receipts from the oil change. You can purchase the Ilmor Oil filter from MC Parts depot.

In your case I would just take a pic of oil filter and oil next to your hr meter.
