My old 205 would spin like a top without having to go very fast to make it happen. Dealer showed me how to do it on the test drive.

Most open bows will scoop up half the lake if you don't give them a little power through the wake. I guess throwing it into reverse when you hit the wakes will compound the problem quite a bit.

The 197 has a much lower profile up front than any generation of 205 ever did.

I think that's why you see a ton of snap on bow covers while guys are on the water. I dunked my 197 plenty.

I think they wish they had a closed bow.

I clicked on this link... again... and watched it twice, again! But, then watched "JP tries to sink his boat" on the same page. Very similar situation....put the nose under and the boat filled! At the last of the video he orders "Everyone Out!" and they start jumping.
