The new Z line is a recapitalization on the success of the "wetjet" in the 90's. MC has long realized that in order to dominate the market share on large wake yachts they need to offer boats with integrated wetjet docking features. Because "wetjet" and "Jet ski" are too similar they have decided that a "Z" nomenclature will be more consistent with the preexisting wake series nomenclature.

Hope this clears the confusion.

For all of you who are wondering, it is going to be an X46 not a Z46 and it is going to be the same as the X45 but with the new body design of the X30 and Xstar. The Z line up will be as everyone is predicting a entry level boat. 2014 will be a very promising year for mastercraft.

I ordered my 2014 X25 last week. MC and the dealers keep their info extremely tight hold but the suttle changes for 2014 are really nice. The Fusion stereo is a real nice upgrade. The new graphics scheme is sick too. I can't wait to see her in August!!!
