1986 Rainbow Graphics

Hey guys, does Jim at BAWS still sell the graphics packages? I tried calling, but it looks like Bay Area Water Sports is out of business? What's the deal?

Anyone know where I can get graphics and interior pieces for an '86?

Thanks!

Jim passed away a little while back. Someone may be able to help you out here. Not sure where to go anymore for those graphics

I am very sorry to hear that. He seemed like a real asset to the MC community, although I never knew him personally.

(Pries foot from mouth).

I'm located in Austin, Texas. But I tried calling Land O Lakes Marine when I couldn't get ahold of BAWS. The gentleman I spoke to said they didn't have any/don't carry them.

Where do you drop your boat in? We typically are on Lake Austin or Georgetown. Hope to see you on the water. Nice '86!

I would need to redraw those.. be careful with old decals due to old adhesives... I am looking for dimensions...

I have a place on Lake Travis near Lago Vista. I haven't put a boat in the water in years because of the drought. That's actually not my '86, I just used the picture for reference. The picture is supposedly an '86 w/ a 454! I'd kill to get my hands on it, but Washington is a long drive and the owner (when I contacted him months ago) told me it was stored in the water, not on a trailer or indoors. http://www.onlyinboards.com/1986-Mas...ton-33577.aspx

I'm in the market for a classic MC. I'm looking at the '83 to '86 year models. I like the full fiberglass stringers and the hull design on that group. It's just a really classic boat. '86 is my favorite, with the rainbow graphics. I was just trying to find out what restoration resources are available, as it impacts my potential purchase.

If I source an '86 I'll be sure to contact you.

Also, I created a profile and username several months ago. I would just stalk without logging in. When I tried to post the OP, it wouldn't let me log in with my old username and password. Does TeamTalk kick you off if you don't login often enough?
