Fusion MS-RA205 failed - replacement help needed

I have a fusion ms-ra205 with a ms-nrx200i remote. This weekend the 205 seemed to lock up and a message on the remote said Stereo not assigned, press the source button to assign a stereo. I checked all the connections and looks good. It doesnít seem the 205 is still made, is there a plug and play replacement I can use? Or any other troubleshooting? Iíd like to get it ordered so will be Back to music next weekend.

The Fusion Apollo MS-RA670 is nearly identical in size and cutout. However, I would not consider it plug and play. You will likely need to splice in the RA670's power harness. Id also confirm it has the proper number of RCA outputs for the application.

Now, if the location of the existing RA205 is not a constraint, then most any of the Fusions should work for you.

Make sure your getting >12v at the radio pigtail. Do you have the latest firmware? Reach out to Fusion support, they are very helpful.

Unplug the harness from the back of stereo for an hour and let it go dead dead.... Then retry turning it on with batterie switch turned to use both batteries. Fusion seems to get angry if theres any kind of low voltage. I did this a couple times this summer and it worked.... but now mine also does not work anymore and looking for replacement options......

Thanks guys. Wow the 670 is an expensive replacement. I have it out so will reinstall and give it the dual battery kick when I get home from work and share the results. It may have been running on only one this weekend so Iím hopeful. Also reached out to fusion per Bloup101ís note.

Reached out to Fusion and they replied right away. They suggested the power down and restart. As i had pulled it out was hopeful a dual battery restart would do it. Nope. Left a message with my dealer on warranty, hoping they can just send me a replacement as itís a 250mi round trip...

Good luck....my dealer wouldnt cover it and had to go with another Fusion unit as I could not find any MS 205 units anywhere....
