WTB 1:1 transmission

I have a friend with an 88 prostar that burned up the tranny running it without oil. Thw servicer couldnt rebuild it??? Cant find a replacement for it and damaged the coupling in the process. Anybody have one around to sell? Been down since may and covid has no new units available

Saw a few on Ebay. Rebuilds are close to what I paid for a new one from SkiDIM. They were hard to get then, even harder now. Saw a new one at My inboard for 150% higher than list. Not surprised, supply and demand type deal. This is a reputable builder.

Yes they are and you can buy direct. I bought a new Vortec 5.7 complete ski boat drop in. Everything on the engine was top of the line. Very easy to install and stupid fast. 325 HP

Sometimes transmissions aren't rebuildable due to case damage. A good example is a spun bearing that damaged the case.
