Starboard ballast tank

2001 X10 starboard rear ballast not filling. Iím getting power to the switch because the light comes on but the pump is not working. 99.9% sure I need to order new pump. Itís a Johnson 1000 GPH pump. Any thoughts or suggested replacement pumps?

You might need to change the impeller. Not a huge task to do that. Not completely sure, but I'd guess the pumps are mounted on the transom inside the engine compartment. If you're going to replace one, you might as well replace all of them, if they're all the same age. In any case, probably a good starting point- pop it out, see what it looks like.
If it's pretty worn or the blades are fairly curved, probably time to replace.
Wakemakers has the correct impellers.
