I think the modern MC's have a long enough drain hose, but on our MariStar the tube won't reach the rear plug. We have to add a tube with a barbed fitting and at that point we just attach that to a hand pump and extract it instead of waiting forever.

Whatever you choose make sure it will suck out the trans oil too

I attach the mighty vac to oil pan drain hOse with a fitting . No mess at all. Takes 5 minutes. Thr
En use it to draw trans fluid out threw fill hole .no mess.
