XT22 Registration Number Location

Do the 3" registration numbers and state sticker fit in the area below the rub rail (Hull 4 shown in red below from design a boat)? Post some pic if you have done this. Need to order my #s and placement will dictate color selection.

Allan, thanks. NOT what I was hoping to hear. The angle and placement will drive me crazy. Anyone else push them towards the bow more and get them to fit??? I might even consider above the rub rail?

It think they fit on the nose, but it would look pretty strange. They could fit over the rail, but you could not do a drip mold or hard decal like the MC logo because they would have to conform a little bit. It would have to be vinyl or hand painted.

This is also the case with NXT22's and XT20's. XT21, XT23, and XT25's all fit in Hull 4.

I don't own a new boat so this doesn't affect me personally but I really wish MC would take this into consideration when designing the gel schemes. I hate seeing some of these amazing looking $100k+ boats and the registration #'s look like an after thought because there is no where good to put them. You see this on bass boats a lot too, there is considerably less area to work with on those also.

Wakejunkie...they will fit up on hull 4 near the front you just have to cheat the spacing down between the letters and numbers, push it all the way to the front and you are good to go. If your water patrol wants to take out a tape measure it wont fly but that's a risk I am willing to take!

Steve I placed mine the same as Alan posted, although mine may be a little further back. That location is the lesser of all the evils. They don't look great anywhere.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! THIS is the answer I was hoping for. We have a 3" state sticker or otherwise I was thinking of having 2 1/2" numbers made.
