Want back in - looking for older Surf boat

Sold my boat last year, made for a long summer. Had a 2001 X30 but just was not using it enough. I am thinking about a project boat and put some tabs on it and load it level.

Any thoughts on an older Mastercraft that would work good for this, I do not want fancy. Something I can load down and screw some big tabs on the back.

Take any thoughts or opinions on this

To be blunt... there are far better boats than Mastercrafts if you're looking for an old surf boat with minimal frills. It does depend on what "old" means to you though.

Better question is: Budget?

Thanks for link, I think a budget around 15K would work. I just want to sack it out with some big tabs and see what happens. I think it would be fun to give it a try.

For 15k... you're better off not in a Mastercraft for your intended purposes. Unless you happen to find something like a Maristar 210 or 230 for insanely cheap.
