I have the Acme 2271 on my X45 with LY6 engine for the last 4-5 years. I tried multiple props from Acme and OJ and the 2271 was the best all around prop. Better holeshot than stock and I even picked up 2 MPH top end. It is also very smooth with very linear pull. I really like it!!

Was your original prop an OJ 522?

My original prop was 14.25x14.75 on the early X45's. The later 2008 and on X45's with the LY6 came with 14.75x15.5 which I believe is the OJ 522. I tried that prop and it was better than the 14.25x14.75 but the Acme 2271 was way better.
