Question about Pushrod Length (1968 Ford 302)

I'm finding the pushrod length on the 302 I'm rebuilding. It's a 1968 block. 2 bolt main. I am installing 1.6 ratio (which I think is the same as stock) roller rockers, hydraulic flat tappet lifters. Block was decked but I believe only a few thou, it was very straight and was only cut to clean it up. MLS gaskets because iron block and aluminum head, I believe they have compressed thickness of .045".

I've tried a few methods with vastly different results. First method I tried was having the rocker 90 parallel to the valve retainer, then calculating 50% lift and how many turns based on the studs I'm using. Ended up with the poly locks five turns in from the very top. Valve pattern didn't seem right. Seemed like the rocker was sitting way too high on the studs, I have 2" studs, I don't think I can get them any longer.https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ https://192168ll.link/
