Will This Trailer Work?

Just bought a 2008 X1 today but it came with an aftermarket tandem axle galvanized ez loader trailer and I want the original single axle. Do you know if this trailer will work for my boat.

We have no clue what trailer you're talking about.

Sorry, I was trying to figure out how to post a picture and it didn't go so well. I found a chart that shows which trailers work for which boats based on serial numbers and unfortunately this one doesn't work.

The way I read it:

200 SA '10 DA-00030

200=Model (Maristar 200 X2)
SA = Single Axle
'10= 2010
DA-00030= Serial number

So will your 2008 X1 fit on a 2010 X2 trailer is the question ( I do not know the answer to this). Hope this helps

Call Mastercraft. They should be able to tell you.

Definitely not without modifications, if it really is a 2010 X2 trailer.

The X2 is much wider than the X1. It's also shorter than the X1. The X2 has a semi-V hull, the X1 has a flat hull.

Not to hijack your thread, but I just bought a 197 with the wrong trailer. The trailer is a zero mile Mastercraft that came out of a dealer that went out of business. It may be too big for your boat because the 197 looks like a dinghy on it. The VIN is 255 12 E6 00001. I am not sure what fits on it. I will be picking it up in the next week or so and can give you more info if you think it might work.

255 sounds like it's for a Maristar 255. In other words, a 25' Mastercraft X55.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking too, but I am more familiar with the ski boats, although I have a Maristar 210 for family outings.
