1999 Speedo

I have a 1999 Prostar 190 with Perfect Pass. The LCD is shot and want to replace it with a matching regular speedo. I am having a hard time finding a match. I will post a pic in hopes someone will have an idea. The pic isnt the greatest. Thanks in advance.

Medallion gauge. I'm in the process of ripping out Medallion gauges from my 190, I think my black tachometer is still working. I'll let you know.

Thanks for the info. If you have a working black speedo let me know, it seems like the wiring harness is behind the dash and just need the speedo to plug in and bypass the perfect pass.

Replacing the perfect pass gauge might be a better option. If you've never tried perfect pass before, it's the best thing since sliced bread. Makes driving any discipline so much easier. Perfect pass is also an awesome company to deal with.

Just to confirm that we are talking about the PP LCD and not the Tach hours LCD?

I think the gauges directly from them are about $200-$250. great deal if that's all it needs to get the PP unit working.

they have the same old display available if that's the route you want to go. I haven't dealt with them myself but from what I hear about them, just give them a call and they will hook you up with what you need.

Thanks for the info! I'm not 100% sure that it's only the display since the display was out when I bought the boat. The display does light up just no numbers. I guess I will try the display and if it's something else just keep replacing parts.

And I just realized I didn't respond to the thread I thought I was in.

In any case, I would echo what the others said, and that is to replace the perfect pass screen. I might have one lying around, I know I replaced mine in the past due to a non-functional button. Not sure if I still have it around.

If you don't want to do a Perfect Pass LCD replacement, I would get a Faria GPS gauge and put it in there. Far cheaper and easier to wire in than a Medallion gauge.

If you have the LCD and want to part with it, let me Know how much. Hopefully it's just the LCD.
