X-Stich Coming apart

Anyone experienced their X-Stich pulling apart? Had a crew out surfing today, and 2 of the ends of seats (first X) are loose.

Yeah, warranty.. I don’t have x stitch, but had thread coming out of my cool feel.. MC replaced, no questions asked.

Just saw this... I’m up to 5 cushions with stitching coming apart. 1st seat started with less than 6hrs on the clock.

my x stitch is coming apart too, it's coming apart on 5 or 6 seats.

Interesting... What year is your boat? Do you now when it was built? Mines a 2019 XT22 built mid January 2019.

my boat is a '19 and the build date was early may.

Mine too. The middle of the X on the end X in two separate places has come loose. Have not called dealer about it yet as we have just a couple weeks of the season left. Anxious to see what happens and what others experience

rbuss it will be covered. i've already gotten confirmation. mc sends new skins and the dealer puts them on.


who is your dealer? you could let them know about it and shoot them a few pics so they can get the case started with MC

Having issues with regular as well... only on two seats. MC replaced one already and should be replacing the second. There are a couple spots where the backing or the stitch need to be upgraded or more robust... I am finding that when people are standing on back seat to reach surf boards on top, they compress the top of the seat a little funky which has cause stitching to unravel... this is the only spot or place I have an issue

I had X stitch on my ‘16 model and was noticing this issue. I’ve since went to the top stitch on last two boats and have had no issues.
