Heater Switch

I have a '99 Maristar and need to replace the heater fan. When I ordered the fan from Heatercraft, they had a 4 position switch that I ordered as well. My heater currently uses one of the accessory switches on the dash and has only an on and an off mode.

Just wondering if anyone has a different setup for their heater? I like the idea of multiple fan speeds but don't like the idea of mounting the new switch.

I found a replacement rocker that fit that was a three-way switch, off in the center like the mooring/running lights. Hooked the med speed to the down position and the highest speed to the up position. We don't miss having the lower speed - I can't imagine a situation where we need heat but would want the very low speed anyway.

I put switches in the boat for heated seats, high, low, matched factory switch exactly

I don't know what the '99 switches look like, you could try mouser as well

I just installed a heater in my '94 PS205. Used the switch that came with the heater and monted it in front of the capacity plate. The only change I made to the switch was to mount it with black head SS screws.

Looks OK.
