Thanks! We will most likely do another X23. We love the surf wake on it, and the rear facing seats. We loved the X30 as well, and it did offer a bit more usable storage, but I think we'll probably stick w/ the X23 for the surf wake.

If you're sticking with the same for next year, why not keep the boat?

That's my thought too. Why take the initial depreciation hit every year?

and maybe never needs to winterize, dewinterize or store a boat over winter.....?

Hey guys... thanks for the good wishes and compliments!

I've been selling / buying a new MC every year for 8 years now. With escalating new prices, I do OK on barely used current model year boats when I sell them, but I do order them w/ resale in mind (color choices & options). Your and my definition of doing "OK" may differ, so take that with a grain of salt - I am OK w/ how I make out in the long run. Its hard to make an argument that boat ownership makes a ton of financial sense anyway, so in this one financial indiscretion, I like to have a new one each year if I can. Every year it seems that we love them enough that if it didn't sell, we'd be fine keeping it another year too.

I have met some great people I have sold to (and love just talking to people about boat choices even if mine isn't the right one for them), and have even had a repeat buyer. Stuff lingers on the internet, and I still get calls about boats I sold 3-4-5 years ago, which says something about just how good resale is on some of these MCs.
